The European University of Tirana has as its priority the recruitment of qualified students into the labor market, supporting and pursuing their careers step by step.
The Career Office performs several functions closely linked to providing students with the opportunity, during their studies, to build their recognition network to easily integrate into the job market, but also to pursue their studies.
Among the functions we can mention are: Follows and organizes student career issues; Provides counseling and guidance regarding the orientation and development of students’ professional careers; Collaborates closely with faculty departments on the organization and continuity of student professional practices; Maintains communication with the Labor Market Boards to obtain feedback on the matching of degrees offered with the labor market, as well as to facilitate the internship process; Prepares proposals for curriculum changes and improvements and submits them for approval to relevant structures; Is responsible for organizing job fairs; Maintains ongoing relationships with other ALUMNI associations or organizations and supports them in their functioning.

Labor market boards
A pioneering idea of UET is the 3-year operation of labor market boards. These boards are made up of 11 members, part of important labor market institutions or actors, who consult twice a year at a department-wide meeting with faculty and university leaders to reflect on our programs the most dynamic content, more concrete and useful compared to what happens in real life. Labor market boards are a point of contact for employment, professional internships and internships.
Members of the Labor Market Boards are part of the UET Alumni Network.
UET is the only university in Albania that organizes the Job Fair every year. It is attended by about 60 companies, the largest in Albania, which conduct job interviews with UET students. About 25% of the students who participated in the Job Fair organized by UET are employed in participating companies.
