DIGIGREENVET
DigiGreenVET aims to modernize vocational education and training in Albania by embedding digital and green skills directly into curricula. The project seeks to align VET outcomes with EU labor market requirements and sustainability priorities, helping students and educators acquire competencies in areas such as digital transformation, sustainability, and green economy principles. By combining curriculum innovation, digital learning solutions, and closer links with businesses, the project strengthens the employability of graduates and enhances the relevance of VET institutions.The initiative also introduces innovative tools like an AI-powered e-learning platform and blockchain-based certification to make skills training scalable and transparent.
Objectives of the project
- Modernize curricula by integrating both digital transformation and green economy principles into Albanian VET programs.
- Strengthen the capacity of VET providers to design and deliver competency-based training aligned with EU labor market needs.
- Promote public–private cooperation by connecting VET institutions, businesses, and policymakers to expand work-based learning opportunities.
- Develop and pilot digital tools, including an AI-powered e-learning platform, to enhance teaching and learning processes.
- Introduce a blockchain-based certification system to ensure transparent, secure, and transferable recognition of skills.
- Foster employability and lifelong learning by equipping students and educators with future-proof skills that support Albania’s digital and green transitions.
