Abaz Hado graduated from the “Jordan Misja” art school in Tirana. Then he studied at the “Academy of Fine Arts” in Tirana and graduated in 1983. Two years later, in 1985, completed post graduate studies as a Researcher and Art Critic. He, also, studied Art Management field. In the field of visual arts, Abaz carries out a wide activity. He has participated in many international exhibitions and in biennials of many countries around the world and in Albania. One of his works is in the “Fund of Artworks” of Queen of England. He has published numerous articles and participated in discussions and conferences on the visual arts. Abaz, has also, published the monographs “Guri Madhi Jeta dhe Vepra”, "Për Galerinë Kombëtare të Arteve" and "Histori Arti" with co-authors. For ten years he hosted his own tv show “Art Shopping” on the biggest news program NEWS 24, and recently “Art and Art” on the national TVSH channel. Abaz Hado was the director of the National Gallery of Arts and Deputy Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports. He is a professor of Art and Communication History and holds the title of Doctor of Science for Arts. Abaz Hado is the Director of Tirana Art Gallery, the newest cultural institution at the heart of the city of Tirana.
