Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mateo Spaho është profesor i Fakultetit të Ekonomisë, Biznesit dhe Zhvillimit në “Universitetin Europian të Tiranës”.

Prof. Spaho completed his bachelor’s and master’s Degree at the University of Parma, Italy and PhD studies in Parma, Italy and in 2015 he became Associate Professor. The professor has a long experience in teaching at university level, and he worked as Minister Advisor and Head of Department of Fiscal Policies and Macroeconomic Forecasting at the Ministry of Finance.

Prof. Spaho is a board member at Insurance Company "Eurosig" and the UBA Bank.

Prof. Spaho is also active in projects related to local government finances, directing training projects for Municipal Councils with national and international donors (Helvetas, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Albanian Association on Regions).

He has participated in various mobility activity for training within the Erasmus+ Program in University of Vigo, Spain, Bratislava University and Belgrade University with the aim of building common study programs.
