Ph.D Ilir Korbi is an attorney at law and professor with an outstanding experience and Western education. Mr. Korbi is graduated in Bachelor and Master of laws studies at one of the oldest Universities in Italy and Europe (1175), the Faculty of Law in Modena, Italy, with maximum results. In the academic year 2009/2010, he completed the Executive Master in English, "Master for International Lawyer", at the University of Bologna, Italy. Mr. Korbi belongs to the generation of doctoral students 2018/2021, of the Department of Public Law, Faculty of Law, Tor Vergata University, Rome, Italy, awarded a PhD research degree with the topic, "Prison conditions in the perspective of the jurisprudence of European Courts regarding the execution of the European Arrest Warrant".

Mr. Korbi also has completed a series of trainings and specializations in Europe: in human rights issues as a Commissioner for Ombudsman in the Emilia Romagna Region, Italy and as a participant in the International Summer School "The protection of Fundamental Rights in Europe" in Bertinoro, Italy; in matters related to arbitration and mediation at the Chamber of Advocates in Bologna, further expanding the competences in this field by receiving the title of "Mediator" from the Ministry of Justice; in properties matters and registration of their title, in training activities developed in Sweden and in the Balkan Region; in matters concerning fundamental rights sanctioned by the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, at the "Renzo Inbeni" Foundation, Modena, Italy; for issues related to leadership, democracy, and justice system, at the School of Political Studies, organized by the Council of Europe in the academic year 2011/2012, in witch it was given an honorary certificate by the Secretary of the Council of Europe. Currently, Mr. Korbi holds the status of Candidate for Judge. From February 2024 he is a professor at the European University of Tirana. Mr. Korbi has over 15 years of experience as attorney, mediator and lecturer. After an experience at the Ombudsman Institution of the Emilia Romagna Region, and an experience at the Court of Modena, he becomes part of the call Brain Gain Programme, UNDP Albania. In 2011, he was positioned at the Central Office of Real Estate Registration, holding a crucial position in dealing with problems and unifying procedures related to the first registration of real estate, as well as representing this institution in front of the courts. In this year Mr. Korbi was given the license of “Attorney”. Starting from 2013, he got the license of “Mediator” and “Public Auditor”. During his career as an attorney and mediator, he collaborated with the eminent law office "Boga & Associates", in which he was engaged in legal representation in front of the courts and providing legal consultancy services to company, for more than three years. From March 2017 to January 2024, Mr. Korbi was the Director of the Legal Office of the European University of Tirana.
