Dr. Dorina Dervishi (Shengjergji) is currently a lecturer at the European University of Tirana where she also heads the Department of Nursing and Physiotherapy. She has study in the Faculty of Pharmacy, at the University of Padua, Italy. She has concluded the PhD degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Medicine, Tirana. She has also completed a master's degree at the Faculty of Pharmacy, University of Camerino, Italy. Before joining the European University of Tirana, in the period 2007 - 2021, she was full-time lecturer in the Faculty of Medical Sciences at Albanian University and had a long experience teaching Pharmacognosy and Phytotherapy in the Pharmacy study program, as well as Pharmacology in the Nursing and Physiotherapy programs. Throughout these years she has also covered administrative roles, initially as assistant to the Head of the Department, and later as the Head of the Pharmacy Department. Dr. Dervishi has published during her scientific and academic research activity, articles and conference proceedings in several reputable journals and has participated in many national and international conferences in some of which as a member of the Scientific and Organizing Board.
