Prof. Dr. Hysen Mankolli completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Agriculture and Environment, Agricultural University, Tirana, Albania. He has been a full-time lecturer at the Agricultural University and has contributed as a member of the Academic Senate and as head of the Ecology section. He has undertaken scientific research in collaboration with many international academic institutions such as the University of Viterbo, the University of Perugia, the University of Bari and IAO Florence in Italy; Konya Technical University in Turkey; the University of Maryland in the United States, etc. Prof. Dr. Mankolli has participated in many research projects at national and international levels, as a member and leader of scientific research projects. He has published as author and co-author: 2 university textbooks, 2 monographs, over 30 scientific articles in journals with impact factor and international reputation, and over 25 presentations at international conferences in the USA, Italy, Turkey, Romania, Bulgaria, Macedonia, Montenegro. Scientific consultant on climate change projects, NOA, University of Maryland College Park, USA. Prof. Mankolli is the Organizer of 15 International Conferences of Ecosystems (ICE). Editor in chief of the International Journal of Ecosystems and Ecology Science (IJEES) since 2011, indexed in SCOPUS. He is a reviewer and editorial board member of international journals with impact factor.
