Prof. As. Dr. Teuta Xhindi obtained her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Tirana in 1988 and her second undergraduate degree in Business Administration from the University of Shkodra in 1999.Xhindi received her master's degree in applied mathematics from the Polytechnic University of Tirana in 2009. In 2014, she concluded her doctoral studies at the Polytechnic University of Tirana and in 2021, she received the "Associate Professor" title.

Prof. As. Dr. Teuta Xhindi has extensive experience in teaching mathematics, statistics and econometrics. Moreover, she has continuously been engaged in a multitude of research projects and studies as a data collection and analysis expert.

Prof. As. Dr. Teuta Xhindi is part of the Network of Women in STEM, created by SCiDEV, which aims to contribute to social and economic empowerment of women by increasing their representation in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), both in academia and in industries.
She is currently a full-time professor at the Department of Informatics and Technology, UET, as well as Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Informatics and Architecture at this university.
