Prof. Asoc. Dr. Artur Jaupaj
Prof. Assoc. PhD Artur JAUPAJ holds a PhD from Hacettepe University, Ankara, Turkey (2005). In 2014, he was awarded the title of Associate Professor from University of Tirana (UT). Regarding his academic and teaching experience, it spans over a period of 30 years both in Albania and abroad: currently at European University of Tirana/UET and previously at Canadian Institute of Technology (CIT), University of New York/Tirana (UNYT) and part-time lecturer at Faculty of Foreign Languages/UT, Faculty of Economy/UT as well as “Fatih Üniversitesi” and “Istanbul Üniversitesi” in Istanbul, Turkey. A member of European Society for the Study of English (ESSE) and board member of the Albanian Society for the Study of English (ASSE), he has published extensively and delivered many papers on a wide range of topics covering American literature, society and culture, as well as interpersonal and intercultural communication and teaching of English for Specific Purposes (ESP). Currently, his research interests focus on mediated communication and technology, education sciences and educational policies of higher education, vocational education as well as the role of digital media in transition societies.
