Ph.D. (c) Dritan Idrizi
Ph.D. (c) Dritan Idrizi is an Assistant Professor and researcher at the European University of Tirana, where he has been working since 2016. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in English Language and British/American Studies, as well as a Master of Science in Intercultural Communication and English Language. In addition, he holds a Master’s degree in Tourism Management and Marketing. During his graduate studies, he was recognized as one of the students of excellence.
Mr. Idrizi also worked as a journalist for a national television channel from 2014 to 2015. His strong commitment to community engagement is evident through his involvement in various NGOs and participation in several “Youth in Action” trainings funded by the European Union. He has also been the recipient of an EU-funded project.
As an author and co-author, Mr. Idrizi has published several scientific articles and has participated in various national and international conferences. He is the co-author of a book titled “From Isolation to Integration – Media Discourse on Albania’s EU Integration.” He has also been a visiting lecturer at several European universities, including Uppsala University and Topkapi University in Istanbul, etc. Additionally, he has served as a translator and editor for several books.
Since 2022, Mr. Idrizi has been a member of the editorial board of the scientific journal POLIS and has been involved as a consultant in several EU-funded and other institutional projects. He is currently pursuing his PhD studies, further advancing his academic and research career.
