Dritan Idrizi is an Assistant Lecturer and researcher at the European University of Tirana since 2016. With a robust academic background, Mr. Idrizi holds a Bachelor’s degree in English and a Master of Science in Intercultural Communication and English Language, complemented by a Master's in Tourism Management and Marketing. He was recognized as a student of excellence during his MA studies.
Before his academic career, Mr. Idrizi practised journalism in a national TV station, from 2014 to 2015. His commitment to community engagement is evident through his involvement in various NGOs and in several "Youth in Action" training courses funded by the European Union. He was also the winner of the project titled "The Environmental Watchdog” back in 2012.
As an accomplished author and co-author, Mr. Idrizi has published several scientific articles and participated in various national and international conferences. He has been a guest lecturer at Uppsala University, Istanbul Topkapi University, etc. Additionally, he has served as a translator and editor for several books.
Since 2022, Mr. Idrizi has been an Editorial Assistant for the “POLIS” scientific journal and contributes to various ongoing projects financed by the EU and other organizations and entities as a consultant and expert. Currently, he is a PhD candidate, further advancing his research and academic career.
