Fatmir Basholli, currently Lecturer in the Department of Engineering at the European University of Tirana, defended his scientific degree "Doctor" in January 1996.

He completed his Master of Science studies in Military Technology in the field of Air Defense at the Defense Academy (1991-1993) and his scientific qualification in Informatics at the Faculty of Natural Sciences, University of Tirana. He graduated with a Bachelor's degree in "Radiolocation" (electrical, electronic and mechatronics) at the Military University (1973-1977).

He has an uninterrupted academic experience of about 28 years in teaching and scientific research as a lecturer, Department Head, Dean in public and private universities, covering a wide range of subjects in Bachelor and Master of Science branches in the field of Electrical Engineering, Electronics, IT and Mechatronics.

He has completed short-term certified qualifications in the field of simulations, military technology, cybersecurity in Turkey, Bulgaria, Germany, Italy, Albania.

He has published scientific articles as sole author and co-author in several journals domestically and abroad and has presented at many national and international conferences. He is also a reviewer in international journals indexed with impact factor.
