Prof. Assoc. Dr. Juelda Lamçe
Position: Dean of the Facultyof Legal, Political, and International Relations
Since 2021, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juelda Lamçe holds the position of Dean of the Faculty of Legal, Political, and International Relations and Editor-in-Chief of the "Jus & Justicia" Journal. She graduated in Law in 2005 from the University of Macerata in Italy, where she also completed a Master's in "Cooperation and Development in the Euro-Mediterranean" at the Faculty of Political Science. In 2010, she completed her doctoral studies related to family law, with excellent evaluation, at the University of Macerata in Italy. She holds the title of "Associate Professor” since 2015. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juelda Lamçe has over 18 years of professional experience as a lawyer. In 2013, she was licensed as a lawyer by the National Chamber of Advocacy in Albania. She has extensive academic experience as a lecturer and researcher. Between 2010 and 2018, she held significant academic positions at the European University of Tirana, including Member of the Academic Senate, Head of the "Private Law" Department, and Leader of the Doctoral School Profile. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juelda Lamçe is the author and co-author of several academic publications, including the book "Family Law through Practical Cases." Her areas of interest primarily include human rights, non-discrimination and gender equality, family law, juvenile protection, migration, employment policies, and the protection of vulnerable groups, among others. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Juelda Lamçe has also collaborated as an expert with legal offices, institutions, and organizations, engaging in significant projects at the national, regional, and international levels. Between 2018 and 2021, she held the position of Director of the Project Implementation Unit for ProSEED (GIZ) at the Ministry of Finance and Economy.
