"The best business idea UET 2022". Winners were awarded with Erasmus + Scholarship, monetary values and internships by Orion Construction and Smartup Digital
The European University of Tirana, organized for the 10th year in a row with the students of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Development at the European University of Tirana, the competition "Best Business Idea", which promotes and supports the ideas that young students have in the field of entrepreneurship and innovation. This competition motivates and encourages students to be creative and bold in their ideas but at the same time to give them the opportunity to turn theory into practice.
The ideas were presented to a professional jury composed of UET Administrator, Tildi Çadri; Anisa Hysi, Director of Human Resources at Orion Construction; Ketrina Çabiri, Director of the Office for Project Development and Internationalization at UET; Jona Babameto, Finance Manager in Gorenje Albania and Brian Shkodrani, founder of Smartup Digital. They appreciated all the participating ideas and encouraged the students to implement them.
Ina Keçi, lecturer of the Department of Management at UET, started the moderation of the activity by expressing the appreciation for the commitment and seriousness that each student has shown in this project so important for them. Pedagogy Keçi also emphasized the approach to the trends of ecological businesses and enterprises and to the improvement of the way of life.
Prof. Dr. Ermira Qosja, the initiator of this competition stressed the importance of this important event for the European University of Tirana and its students “kur e nisëm shumë vite më parë e nisëm për të promovuar sipërmarrjen brenda UET dhe p“when we started many years ago we started to promote entrepreneurship within UET and to promote the best students. The desire to create entrepreneurial competence within us was not only a desire of a lecturer but also an approach of UET itself, of entrepreneurship education at UET, of the University of Business and why not of the Entrepreneurial University ”.
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Elvin Meka, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Development praised the continuity of this activity year after year with rigor and great fanaticism from UET as it helps students to generate their ideas, process them, present them and then develop them concretely “in this jubilee year I emphasize the importance of this initiative to generate ideas and promote the ideas of our students and for the aim to get as close as possible around the project that UET intends to partner with more than 500 enterprises and corporations ”.
At the end of the competition, two Erasmus + student exchange scholarships were awarded by the UET Administrator, Mr. Tildi Çadri for the “Win Cycle” venture to students Joana Hoxha and Nancy Janina. Mr. Chadri said that this scholarship will serve students for a different experience and will help them to create a clearer idea and to better define their entrepreneurship. The "HEPO" business conceived by students Orialda Toli, Flori Gjonaj, Essio Guni and Marko Palokaj was awarded a monetary prize by Anisa Hysi, Director of Human Resources at "Orion Construction", to be encouraged to continue their entrepreneurship. Also the students of the business idea "K.E.S.A" Altea Veria, Enida Qalliu, Zinete Xhafaj and Serxhio Coku were the winners of an internship given by Brian Shkodrani in Spartup Digital.
