Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Development – Prof. Asoc. Dr. Mateo Spaho
Prof. Assoc. Dr. Mateo Spaho is the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Business and Development "European University of Tirana ".
Prof. Spaho completed his bachelor’s and master’s Degree at the University of Parma, Italy and PhD studies in Parma, Italy and in 2015 he became Associate Professor. The professor has a long experience in teaching at university level, and he worked as Minister Advisor and Head of Department of Fiscal Policies and Macroeconomic Forecasting at the Ministry of Finance.
Prof. Spaho is a board member at Insurance Company "Eurosig" and the UBA Bank.
Prof. Spaho is also active in projects related to local government finances, directing training projects for Municipal Councils with national and international donors (Helvetas, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung, Albanian Association on Regions).
He has participated in various mobility activity for training within the Erasmus+ Program in University of Vigo, Spain, Bratislava University and Belgrade University with the aim of building common study programs.
Dean of the Faculty of Law, Political Sciences and International Relations – Prof.Assoc.Dr. Ervis Iljazaj
PhD in Political Science, "La Sapienza" University, Rome, Italy, 2014, with a dissertation topic:"Different Models of Parliamentary Leadership"a comparative analysis. In 2010, he completed his postgraduate studies with a Second-Level Master's Degree at "La Sapienza" University in"Parliamentary Institutions". From 2007 to 2009, he pursued a Master of Science in Political Science at the University of Camerino, Italy. From 2004 to 2007, he completed his Bachelor's studies in Political Science at the University of Camerino, Italy.
He has participated in several national and international scientific conferences and is the author of scientific articles on topics related to political institutions, political parties, and parliamentarism. From 2016 to 2017, he served as Deputy Director of the Doctoral School at UET. From 2020 to 2022, he headed the Department of Applied Social Sciences. He has also led the Pashko Liberal Institute of Tirana for several years.
He has worked as an editorialist in print media. From 2017 to 2018, he was the Director of MAPO newspaper. Currently, he serves as Dean of the Faculty of Law, Political Science, and International Relations, as well as a lecturer in political science in the Department of Applied Social Sciences.
Dekane e Fakultetit të Shkencave Humane, Edukimit dhe Arteve Liberale – Prof. Dr. Belina Budini
Prof. Dr. Belina Budini është Dekane e Fakultetit të Shkencave Humane, Edukimit dhe Arteve Liberale dhe Drejtuese e Departamentit të Shkencave Humane dhe Komunikimit në Universitetin Europian të Tiranës. Me mbi dy dekada përvojë akademike dhe profesionale, si pedagoge dhe drejtuese në arsimin e lartë, Budini ka gjithashtu një profil të spikatur kërkimor dhe editorial në fushën e mediave dhe të komunikimit.
Si Jean Monnet Chair (2024–2027) në Studime Europiane dhe Media, Prof. Budini udhëheq disa projekte kombëtare dhe ndërkombëtare mbi inovacionin mediatik, gazetarinë dhe komunikimin në kontekstin e integrimit europian.
Ajo ka qenë gjithashtu akademike e ftuar dhe bashkëdrejtuese forumi ndërkombëtar në Qendrën e Studimeve Europiane (SEESOX), Kolegji St Antony’s, Universiteti i Oksfordit (2020), si dhe ka mbajtur angazhime kërkimore dhe si lektore e ftuar në institucione si Universiteti i Harvardit (2025) dhe Goldsmiths, University of London, ku përfundoi Masterin në Media dhe Komunikim. Ajo ka përfunduar doktoraturën në Gazetari dhe mban titullin akademik Profesor.
She is the Editor-in-Chief of POLIS, UET’s peer-reviewed academic journal, POLIS, a member of the Academic Senate and a member of the Editorial Committee on Communication and Media at the Academy of Sciences of Albania for the Albanian Encyclopedia..
Fluent in English, French, and Italian, Prof. Budini continues to engage actively in international academic, cultural, and policy dialogues, contributing to debates on media, democracy, and European integration in Albania and the wider region.
Dekane e Fakultetit të Inxhinierisë, Informatikës e Arkitekturës – Prof. Asoc. Dr. Teuta Xhindi
Prof. Asoc. Dr. Teuta Xhindi ka përfunduar studimet në Universitetin e Tiranës, dega Matematikë si dhe në Universitetin e Shkodrës dega Administrim Biznes. Në vitin 2014 ka përfunduar studimet doktorale në Universitetin Politeknik të Tiranës dhe në vitin 2021 ka marrë titullin “Profesor i Asociuar”.
Prof. Asoc. Dr. Teuta Xhindi ka eksperiencë të gjatë në mësimdhënie në lëndët e matematikës, statistikës dhe ekonometrisë. Gjithashtu, është e angazhuar në një sërë projektesh dhe studimesh në rolin e ekspertes në mbledhjen dhe analizën e të dhënave.
Prof. Asoc. Dr. Teuta Xhindi është pjesë e Rrjetit të Grave në STEM, të krijuar nga SCiDEV, që synon të kontribuojë në fuqizimin social dhe ekonomik të grave duke rritur përfaqësimin e tyre në Shkencë, Teknologji, Inxhinieri dhe Matematikë (STEM), si në akademi ashtu edhe në industri.
Aktualisht është profesore me kohë të plotë pranë Departamentit të Informatikës dhe Teknologjisë, UET si dhe Dekane e Fakultetit të Inxhinierisë, Informatikës dhe Arkitekturës pranë këtij universiteti.
