Prof. Dr. Majlinda Perriu

Prof. Dr. Majlinda Perriu is a Professor at the European University of Tirana. She has extensive experience as a full-time academic staff member. For 22 years, she served as an academic at the “A. Xhuvani” University of Elbasan, where she held the positions of Dean and Vice Dean of the Faculty of Humanities for several years. For several years, she was responsible for the Third Cycle Study Program “Doctorate in Albanology” and a member of the “Aleks Buda” Center for Albanological Studies at the European University of Tirana.

She lectures in the field of International Relations in study programs at the Bachelor, Professional Master, and Scientific Master levels, teaching courses such as: Contemporary World History, International Relations, History of Political Doctrines, History of Government Systems, World History 1912–1990, Contemporary European Civilization, Balkan History, Cultural Heritage,, Academic Writing, and Research Methodology..

She earned her degree of “Doctor of Sciences” at the University of Tirana in the field of History, and in 2016 she was awarded the academic title of Associate Professor. In 2023, the University of Tirana conferred upon her the academic title of “Professor.”

She is a member of the Albanian-American Academy of Science and Arts in the United States.

Prof. Dr. Peza – Perriu is the author of several studies in the field of history and archival documentation, a member of editorial boards of scientific journals, and a member of scientific committees in international congresses and conferences. She has also led and participated in important national and international projects.

She has taken part in numerous international congresses and conferences both in Albania and abroad and has published a number of papers in prestigious national and international journals indexed with impact factor and Scopus.
