The Erasmus + project: “The development of the European Master in Political Science (Europs) curriculum” led by the University of Salzburg – Department of Political Science and Sociology, aims to develop a MA degree in Political Science accredited by all partners including in the project. The project focuses on enhancing the quality of higher education through curriculum development, capacity building, and the establishment of joint MA programs in political science across multiple universities in the Western Balkans and Europe. It aims to modernize educational systems, improve governance, and foster international cooperation among participating institutions.
Objectives of the project
- Establish a joint MA program in political science.
- Strengthen the administrative and academic capabilities of participating universities.
- Promote collaboration between Western Balkan universities and their European counterparts.
Expected Results and Outcomes
- An accredited joint MA program in political science that meets European standards.
- Improved academic and administrative capacity in partner institutions.
- Stronger ties and collaboration between European and Western Balkan universities.
Project Activities
- Creating and implementing a curriculum for a joint European Political Science MA.
- Organizing workshops for academic and administrative staff to support curriculum implementation and management.
- Establishing systems to ensure the quality and accreditation of the joint program
