Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tidita Abdurrahmani is a Lecturer at the Department of Humanities and Communication and Head of the Curriculum and Capacity Building Office at the European University of Tirana. Ms. Abdurrahmani received her PhD. Degree in British and American Literary and Cultural Studies from Graz, Austria, and the academic degree of Associate Professor from the University of Tirana. Prof. Abdurrahmani has been a lecturer at the university level for more than 21 years, and has held academic leadership positions for more than 11 years (including positions as Head of Department and Dean etc.) Prof. Abdurrahmani has been a chairperson and member of the executive and editorial boards of several conferences in the field of education and studies of American literature and Culture, as well as editor-in-chief and reviewer in several international journals.

Ms. Abdurrahmani has also been the General Director(CEO) of an educational institute subsidiary to the Ministry of Education (IZHA) for 4 years and a principal researcher in several projects in the field of education, humanities and translation studies. Prof. Abdurrahmani has been part of the policy and decision-making groups in the field of education in Albania and has undertaken scientific research in collaboration with many international academic institutions on issues such as curriculum design, curriculum assessment and curriculum implementation, development of methodological and didactic materials for teachers, professional development of teachers, etc. Prof. Abdurrahmani has led as a principal researcher several projects in the field of inclusive education, multicultural education, media education, postmodern ethnic studies, etc. In addition to lecturing in the field of English and American literature, language and culture, she has also been involved in lecturing in the subjects of Educational Sciences, Teaching Methodology and Pedagogy, Learning Theory, etc. Ms. Abdurrahmani has also been involved as an expert in international and national projects, as a project evaluator for the Western Balkans, and as an external quality assurance expert for several international accreditation agencies.
