MSc. Fluturim Nela is an Assistant Lecturer at the European University of Tirana and a member of the Nuclear Medicine Department at the University Hospital Center “Mother Teresa” (QSUNT). He completed his undergraduate and postgraduate studies at the Faculty of Technical Medical Sciences, University of Medicine, Tirana, and has undertaken advanced training in diagnostic radiology in Trieste, Italy, and Ankaran, Slovenia.

With extensive experience in diagnostic radiology, Fluturim Nela has contributed to several private and public healthcare institutions, combining clinical expertise with academic engagement. He lectures in radiology, MRI, nuclear medicine, and radiation protection, and is actively involved in curriculum development and the integration of digital and innovative technologies in medical imaging education.

He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. studies at the European University of Tirana, focusing on neuroimaging and the application of artificial intelligence in the analysis of cerebral structures.

Fluturim Nela is an active member of the International Society for MR Radiographers & Technologists (ISMRT), the European Society for Magnetic Resonance in Medicine and Biology (ESMRMB), and the Italian Association of Radiology Technicians in Computed Tomography (AITeRTC). He also serves as the national contact person for Albania at the European Federation of Radiographer Societies (EFRS).
