Call for Chapter Contributions on Innovative Pedagogical
Approaches and Methodologies

We invite you to contribute your insights, experiences, and ideas to Part II of the Higher Education Contemporary Learning Landscape monograph, entitled “Innovative Pedagogical Approaches and Methodologies.” As authors, you are expected to share your unique perspectives on Virtual Collaborative Learning (VCL), drawing from the significant advancements and exemplary practices that our consortium of the Erasmus+ COWEB project has collectively developed across Europe. This initiative aims to consolidate the experience and knowledge within our consortium, showcasing the innovative VCL approaches that have been successfully implemented.

Your contributions will play a crucial role in documenting these advancements, sharing successes, and providing a valuable resource for educators, students, and policymakers. We encourage you to focus on how these innovative approaches have pushed the frontiers of education, supported student engagement, and enhanced learning outcomes. By compiling our collective insights and research, we aim to offer a comprehensive guide that will deepen the understanding and facilitate the implementation of VCL, benefiting the educational community both within and beyond the EU. We look forward to your valuable contributions in making this monograph a significant resource for the educational community.

Submission Guidelines. Each chapter should comprise 3500 to 5000 words without the references. Chapters should be submitted in Microsoft Word format; each chapter should be in a single file, including text, tables, and bibliography. Graphs should be in separate Excel files. Use no formatting that is not essential to your manuscript; italics should be used for emphasis and bold for headings. The documentation should be in the APA format.

• Comments from editors and reviewers: 30 days after submission
• Submission of revised paper: 30 days after getting the comments, the latest April 30, 2025

COWEB project aims to build capacities in WB HEIs for international Virtual Collaborative  Learning as an innovative pedagogical approach in teaching and learning, focusing on co-creating virtual/blended learning spaces and course content that will boost 21st-century skills and competencies for students and address the low cross-border collaboration among HEIs and students in the WB region. COWEB is co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union during the period February 2023–January 2026.
