OFFICE FOR PROJECTS AND INTERNATIONALIZATION, UET 61EUFuturEnhancing EU Integration process literacy among university students in Western Balkans- Jean Monnet Center of Excellence ACTIVITIES%u2022 Teaching & Curriculum Development: Update curricula on EU integration, introducing new modules in humanities and social sciences for second-cycle studies.%u2022 Regional Financial Literacy Survey: Conduct a study on financial literacy in the Western Balkans, publishing findings in a research paper.%u2022 Policy Proposal: Develop a policy paper recommending mandatory EU-related subjects in Albanian university curricula.%u2022 International EU Quiz: Organize a quiz for students from partner universities on EU policies and integration.%u2022 Lectures & Workshops: Host discussions with academics, government, NGOs, and EU representatives on EU integration.%u2022 Student Research: Support MSc students in writing and presenting EU-focused research papers.OBJECTIVES%u2022 Promote excellence in teaching and research, in the field of European Studies, issues, and practices.%u2022 Expand knowledge about the EU and its respective policies, standards, convergence criteria, etc. Given the current revision of EU convergence criteria, this knowledge needs to be conveyed to the public and key stakeholders involved in the EU integration and access process in Albania.%u2022 Promote and establish a dialogue between academia and other stakeholders, focusing mainly on students in higher education institutions not normally dealing with EU issues.%u2022 Review, update and complement current curricula on EU policies, market, institutions, as well as the EU integration process.
