This discrepancy has led to high rates of youth unemployment and underemployment, highlighting a critical need for reform in the VET sector. EmpowerVET project will build the capacity of VET institutions in Albania by creating tailored programs for educators and administrators to enhance their pedagogical and operational capabilities, introducing standards and practices to ensure the continuous improvement of VET offerings, establishing partnerships with businesses to align curricula with labor market needs and facilitating exchanges and collaborations with European partners to share best practices and innovations.
