AIMS AND SCOPE

ECONOMICUS (print ISSN: 2223-6295/ online ISSN: 2958-8901) is an international blind peer reviewed journal, published twice a year by the European University of Tirana, Albania. Economicus’ first issue came out in 2008. Since 2017 Economicus publishes articles in English only and covers a vast area of business & economics issues, regarding the national and global economy. Our mission is to accelerate the dissemination of knowledge through the publication of high-quality, peer-reviewed research papers, reports, and book reviews, while serving as a unique peer-reviewed forum for the community of students, academics and practitioners, with a shared interest and devotion to the theoretical and empirical research, in all areas of economics. The ECONOMICUS Journal covers many aspects within the spectrum of economics, including but not limited to: Macroeconomics Monetary Economics Financial Economics International Economics & Finance Public Finance Financial Markets & Regulation Risk Management Business Climate Business Management Development Models & Economic Growth Competition Industrial Organization International Trade & Commerce Labor Economics Technology – Oriented Business & Development ECONOMICUS realizes the importance of fast publication for researchers, therefore it offers a fast publication schedule, including prompt peer-review by academicians and researchers in the field and quick publication, upon acceptance. The editorial board applied the policy of fast reviewing of the submitted articles and subsequently includes them in the forthcoming issues, should they pass the evaluation process. The journal is published in both print and online formats.
