LAW SCIENCES

The PhD program in Law prepares doctoral students to undertake independent research, development and teaching assignments in the field of law. As part of the doctoral program, doctoral students will become familiar with issues, scientific methodologies, theories and historical developments in the field of law. The program enables PhD students to independently and critically apply law research methods and to create new knowledge within the field of law which is their area of focus. Doctoral students should undertake, within a well-defined field of law, independent research and design a high-quality academic subject. As part of the doctoral program, candidates can participate in other research legal, national or international settings and possibly collaborate with research environments in the private and public sectors.
