The Project Development Office in the European University of Tirana facilitates the development of projects in social sciences, economics, law, education, communication and information technology, with the aim the inclusion of the academic staff, new researchers and students of UET in capacity development projects , scientific research, policy-oriented and other initiatives studies that are closely related to higher education. The Project Development Office is an integral structure within UET, but at the same time it collaborates with a broad network of partners at the national, regional, and international level.
The Project Development Office has a broad experience in writing and managing projects in the frame of national and international programs:

  • The European Commission programs for lifelong learning like Jean Monnet, Tempus;
  • The European Commission programs for science like the European Cooperation for Science and Technology (COST);
  • The Promotion Program of Regional Research (PPR) by the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation;
  • Visegrad Fund for University Studies (VUSG);
  • Programs for integration processes of the Open Society Foundation for Albania;
  • ABC Foundation programs for entrepreneurship;
  • Social inclusion programs for organizations like World Vision, UNICEF, UN WOMEN, etc..

The Project Development Office facilitates cooperation of UET with partner institutions in the field of higher education, civil society, entrepreneurship and politics. Moreover UET has created a network of partners in the region by cooperating in areas of mutual interest for the further development of education and scientific research.
